Fuel Up

In a branding workshop for a hypothetical convenience store, my team of graphic designers and marketing majors created a millennial-specific mobile app & loyalty reward program. As a promotional feature to the program, a team of employees would travel to music festival and big-ten sporting events in order to give millennials a station to recharge, refresh, and refuel. At these stations they could recharge their phones, purchase drinks and snacks, and sign up for the loyalty reward program.

As a graphic designer on the creative team, I contributed to the branding materials that went into designing a fuel-up truck, the traveling station, “swag” items, in-store promotional items, and the mobile app. Most specifically, I took responsibility for the mobile app design and functionality.  Using the branding materials we all created, I gave the UI a retro-meets-modern feel to keep the design colorful and bold. Some of the features include point-tracking, menus, follow the fuel-up truck, social media feed, and event updates.
