In collaboration with Architecture, Interior Design, and fellow Graphic Design students, our hypothetical design firm was challenged with conceptualizing and building all aspects of a restaurant, named The Powder Horn. The Powder Horn focuses their seasonal menu on hunted game, while keeping their food as healthy as possible.
Based on the restaurant’s concept, we chose to modernize a western frontier look, and implement that in the branding and packaging of the restaurant. We created a logo from a woodcut, as well as a set of patterns, which were used throughout interior and exterior signage, the menu, packaging, advertisements, employee uniforms, and décor.
