Pumped Up Kicks

The goal of this project was to create a short lyric video to tell the story of the song “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster The People, using Adobe Flash.

I wanted to tell the story of the song by having playful images and colors, while bringing in a dark character as talked about in the song. I chose a sans serif font for the lyrics themself, due to the modern genre of music, and allow the characters to interact with the words. I also added motion to certain words to try and mimic what our perception of each word was.
