When given stories written by Georgetown writing students that were believed to be about “bad behavior”, my challenge was to compile the stories together in a literary journal and relate it to the process of spoiling milk.
I took photos of milk as it goes from fresh and delicious, all the way down to when it is completely spoiled and disgusting. I used these photos to guide the reader through the bad behavior developing in the story. As the conflict arises in each story, the reader sees the photos of the milk starting to spill and change consistency. I also created a set of stickers of milk spills that the reader could place in the journal wherever they felt conflict arose.
